Some of you may have seen my “Disillusioned” Thread on the GD Forum recently, but I would now like to be somewhat more upbeat and positive! As I approach my first anniversary of joining the forum (why I didn’t do it before, I haven’t a clue!), I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the enjoyment I have had in the last 12 months, through what has been a difficult year for me personally, in common with some other contributors. I have howled with laughter at many of the contributions, particularly those replying to the various threads from young Robert Weaver. Robert, we may chide you, wind you up and disagree with some of the things you say, but please keep going on your chosen path and don’t ever leave the forum as it would be a duller place without you! In particular, I would like to thank those members that I have had the pleasure to meet – thank you for making a complete stranger very welcome – I would like to hope that these may be the beginning of some good friendships. To those who I may have unwittingly annoyed or upset, I apologise; that was never my intention.
Finally, I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year and I look forward to seeing you in 2005.
Ian
