Thanks to sky tv the programs on at the moment showing life during the second world war especially the program today of the ATA women pilots ferring aircraft around the country to air bases supplying new fighters and bombers.
They said from time to time they were attacked by fighters and usually put down at the nearest base however sometimes the aircraft they returned for maintenance had armament on board but they were not trained/ unable to use it.
So did any women ATA pilots get fed up of this and shoot down any fighters or bombers?

Hi , there was a similar program on channel 12 on freeview at 9o’clock last night. Prog was called fighting the blue. I think it’s a series of programs.
