Arrived home at 9 this evening, after a hot and sweaty drive to Bristol last night and Poole this morning. But it was all worth it.
I would like to extend my thanks to all the forumites who were there at the weekend who made the weekend so memorable.
Especially Robbo for giving us something to aspire to, a pair of legs like his.
Snapper for the gurgling, snoring, large G & T’s at 2 in the morning, his poor sence of direction, and the Caravan and bum comments, among others.
MoF for his whit, or a similar sounding word.
Steve Young for the flight on Sunday morning, for bringing along Jules to give us a distraction from the aircraft and for one of the comments of Legends 2005 “P51 Cadillac of the Sky” !!!!
Mk12 for his knowledge and for taking the zimmer frame comments squarely on the chin.
Stewart1a for not taking my “digs” to heart.
Setter for bringing a certain rough colonial edge to the proceedings.
And all the others who were there at some point, it was great to meet you and if I said anything out of order, ah well. A great weekend !!!!

No thanks, we had enough of him at the weekend. Even my eight year old son was heard to utter the words “Doesn’t he go on…?” 😉

I’d like to thank you all as well, for the peace and quiet I had last weekend. Pity it was only for 4 days, would anyone like to adopt a 40 year old child ? I’ll pay.
