Marilyn Monroe’s dress that she famously wore in the film ‘The Seven Year Itch’ has sold at auction for $2.8m dollars US.
It was part of a collection of famous outfits and momorabilia including Laurel & Hardys car owned by actress Debbie Reynolds and sold off at auction in the USA.

If he did not need the salary because of family wealth then J would still have had tremendous spending power for retail therapy etc 😉
An attractive bank balance could make up for indiscretions for a while 🙂

Back then, the pres only got $100,000 a year, which Kennedy, coming from a wealthy family never accepted.

Back then as a “good” Catholic and trying to preserve her husband’s career, divorce was not an option.

I always thought “that dress” was the little black number with all the safety pins in it, which Liz Hurley famously wore sometime in the 1990s…
