I still never mentioned divorce LOL
If he did not need the salary because of family wealth then J would still have had tremendous spending power for retail therapy etc 😉
An attractive bank balance could make up for indiscretions for a while 🙂

Back then, the pres only got $100,000 a year, which Kennedy, coming from a wealthy family never accepted.

So 50% of nothing….:D

Back then as a “good” Catholic and trying to preserve her husband’s career, divorce was not an option.

If she asked for one, brother Ted may have asked her for a ride in his new Oldsmobile. :diablo:

Jackie decided not to be humiliated in public (private was okay I guess). 😀

At least she could cry all the way to the bank LOL

It’s priceless – where else would cloning scientists find so much JFK DNA?

I think you’re confusing dresses…the film dress vs the Birthday dinner dress.

BTW: Jackie did not go to the party…she was tipped off in advance and decided not to be humiliated in public (private was okay I guess). 😀

I always thought “that dress” was the little black number with all the safety pins in it, which Liz Hurley famously wore sometime in the 1990s…
