Seems Roger Waters (ex-Pink Floyd) has lost his pig from a gig in Califonia. How careless!

He has got a new pig! He also has a Spaceman. Both remote controlled, each makes it’s own appearance and floats gently, just out of reach of outstretched hands.
Band members are…
Snowy White,Guitar.
Chester Kamen,Guitar,Vocals.
Graham Broad,Drums.
John Carin,Keyboards,Vocals.
Ian Ritchie,Saxophone.
Harry Waters,Roger’s son,on Keyboards.
Dave Kilminster,Guitar,Vocals.
And what a trio of “back-up” singers!
Sylvia Mason James,a lady I have had the pleasure to listen to/watch many times as she is a key member of Pet Shop Boys.
Carol Kenyon and the great P.P.Arnold.
Thousands of pot-bellied slap-heads left The Dome very happy guys,to be greeted by a clear night sky with a beautiful full moon.A very fitting ending to a cracking concert.

Whenever they separatley play DSOTM live,I hope both of them,in the back of their minds, are thinking this😎 .

Ok my friend we’ll agree to disagree without falling out, I ain’t bothered about going, I saw them perform it properly 30 odd years ago, bloody hell, is my maths correct, and yes, I went to one of their Psychedelic light shows in the 60’s, Set the controls, Not Arf.
My vinyl version of DSOTM, which I still have by the way, was bought the day it came out.
Let me know if some of the stalwarts off the album ie singers and sax player agree to play with him, I doubt it, but who knows.
As for being the guiding light after Syd, in Waters terms, possibly, but I was under the impression that it was more of a collective which fell apart when they brought out The Wall, which in my opinion is a bloody awful album, I hate it, it’s never graced the Truman shelves, I gave up on them after hearing that one.
I think that the problem was that Waters, rightly or wrongly, was a bit too avant gard and full of his own ideas for the rest of the band to go along with.
In some ways he was right, Wish You Were Here was a good follow up to DSOTM, but they couldn’t keep that genre going for ever, there had to be a change of direction, but I feel what he wanted was a bit too severe, I think he should have looked out of himself, taken the advice of the others, and seen the market potential of a great band and sound, it is important when you have a ‘World Mega’ band here, thats why I dislike him, he screwed up and won’t admit it, he sacked Wright and upset Gilmour, not a good thing to do, then forgot to keep the Pink Floyd copyright.
I’ve seen so many programmes about this band, they tend to be pleasant about each other when interviewed, seperatately of course, but it will never work again, Geldorfs gigantic effort at getting them to play in Hyde Park was amazing, but you could see the cracks and fissures when they performed.
Sad isn’t it, you would think that old gits like them, and me, would be able to settle their differences after all this time and go for it, whats the point, they ain’t going to take the world apart anymore, or would they, if they thought about it and worked together, who knows.

We are never going to agree over the split of Floyd Pete.I’ve always favoured 4 strings over 6.IMHO after Sid,Waters was always the guiding light.Anyway, while I’m watching some great LIVE music on the 18th,why don’t you slap DSOTM,whatever version you have, into your player and imagine what you’re missing.

Hope he gets a new one before the 18th! I’m going to see him at The Dome, opps sorry,The O2.
Yes, which he keeps advertising as the last ever public performance of ‘Dark side of the Moon’ in it’s entirety.
Whats it got to do with him, haven’t his former pals and Pink Floyd copywrite name holders got a say in this, is he trying to say it was his baby then.
Sorry, but his ego destroyed a great band, I wouldn’t go and see him if it was for free, pity he wasn’t tied to the pig when it floated off, I bet our Dave thinks the same.
