Anyone got this book?
Got it for my birthday last week. Lots of pull-out maps (inc ones I’ve seen at IWM Duxford North iirc), letters, booklets and has an audio CD too. Only thing is lots of the letters are in French (odd that) and I don’t read French too well, only to “jist of” level. With all the paraphernalia, it’s a bit like getting a kids book although naturally the subject material is approached in a very adult way.

Sounds fascinating, I presume that the author is Major General Thompson?
Have read his book on the history of the Royal Marines which was a brilliant read.
