As the title,guys.
Can we have your ONE favourite shot YOU have taken this year, for whatever reason, quality not an issue, just the one shot that matters most to you.
Include a wee story that goes with it if you wish.
I feel there has been some outstanding work posted on this forum and a thread of the “best of the year” should be a joy for us all. I feel privileged to be in the midst of some of the very best aviation photographers around and am learning so much from you all…Cheers:)
Come on chaps….get sniffing through your archives and lets have them. (please only 1 each unless 1 does’nt do it justice)
(i’ll add my own later…..not so easy to find “the one” :p )

My fave shot of 2006 was this beast, the reason being I didnt know it was coming in, I had been taking some shots and was packing up when I got a call from home, the usual “what time will you be home”, so was standing next to the car on the phone and noticed something “big” coming in, quickly made my excuses to the ‘other half and got quite a few shot off through the wire mesh fence, everything was pretty rushed but the majority came out good

So is it one rule, or two? Same problem again, it seems! :diablo: :p
Andy
Why is it such a huge problem for you if people post two rules instead of one because they were being a bit silly and not thinking properly about what they were typing? 😀 :p

There is one rule though (besides not getting blood on the walls)… No finger injuries allowed

Fantastic thread to view – great idea 😀
Here’s my not so great offering, but hey I’m no photographer :p
Taken at Dublin in May:

EDIT: Should have said, I’m not really sure what this shot was meant to be of 😀

mine…
I have to go with this one but I could post a lot more. My first year of digital shooting.
This shot with Canon 350D + 100-400 IS L, I think fairly sure, if not the a 30D with 70-200 IS L F2.8

Just so you all know, I am offering my house for this fight. Just be quick cause in a few days I will get the carpet in and I do not want bloodstains on it. Ooh, and do not touch the walls since I just got wallpaper on them! 😀
Right then… Come on guys, KEY forum fight meet at Peter’s place tomorrow afternoon. Meet at Panorama Terrace at AMS 9:30am, spot/photograph for a couple of hours then round to Peter’s to kick the crap out of each other. We’ll stop off at the Polderbaan for a photo sesh on the way back just before it gets dark.
There is one rule though (besides not getting blood on the walls)… No finger injuries allowed. People still need to be able to press their shutter release or write in their log books. Breaking legs/noses/ribs is absolutely fine.
Who’s in?

Why do people here have such a problem with counting to one?
Why is it such a huge problem for you if people post two because they’re undecided which is their absolute favourite?
