I would just like to say a big thanks to people who have contributed there photos of my event back on Sun 2 May 04 at Abingdon…have recieved many at home here & those of you who have posted some on this site.
They really are first class photographs and proves that some of you should take up a secondary job of being a photographer (& get paid for it!!)..
What has impressed us (The Abingdon Fayre Committee) are the quality of them 😀
Now many of you know if attended our 2004 event the 2005 event is hopefully Sun 1st May..
I know it clashes with Old Warden & maybe Duxford, but (now being aimed at for aviation enthusiasts), Duxford & Old Warden have several shows per year remember whereby ours is once a year, but i wish to reiterate the point of we have a agreement whereby it is the best time for us to stage the show…& has certain bonuses for us each year being at this time of year.
Just thought i would make people aware, we are not doing it to be in competition with Dux or Old Warden, as after all it is a “Family Show” too…
Anyway, thank you all for your continuing support to our events. 😀

Thanks for the update Neil. I was at this years and will be there next year all things being equal. It is a treat to be able to fly in, you feel part of it that way.
Anyway it was a great day and well done, see you next year.
