Anyone out there got a copy of the August 2nd 1939 issue of the “The Aeroplane”? I am looking for a copy of an article from that issue.

I shall be at Brooklands on Tuesday. We have 99% of the (old) Aeroplane mags in the Library. Which article are you looking for?

If ‘Aeroplane Monthly’ cannot/will not help, I believe that the RAeS library, which is located in the Hub at Farnborough, has a complete run of ‘The Aeroplane’. I’ve found it to be very helpful when I’ve made enquiries of it in the past.

If you contact Aeroplane Monthly, I think that they will, for a modest fee, copy it from their archive for you.
