Does anyone have any info on this advanced short-range dogfight missile that was designed to arm the USAF’s ‘FX’ (Later F-15 Eagle) fighter?
12 company’s were sent the RFP
The requirement was for a AAM that could aquire and lock-on to its target from any angle and home on it while the parent aircraft turned away.
But it was cancelled
Any specifications, drawings, pictures would be great!
Did it fly in prototype form?
