This thread http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthread.php?t=111511 sparked a thought for what could be an interesting thread.
Has anyone any interesting photo’s of aircraft flying or arriving by road into preservation ?
Surely people out there have photo’s of Vulcans, Victors and a myriad of other types flying into museums. The same and many many other types arriving by lorry into museums must surely have been captured by us all.
I know Twin Otter linked some pictures arriving at Newark many months ago and they proved especially interesting.
Has anyone got anything else to share ?
Over to you guys.

ah the very a/c i was discussing on another thread!
Indeed! However it wasn’t ‘derelict’ as reported on the other thread, the damage was limited to the tail. I suspect it deteriorated somewhat over time in storage though!

I cannot contribute any pictures but I like the theme of the thread and hope we might see some interesting pictures. Concorde’s arrival at East Fortune must have been an occasion!
