Thanks again guys! Glad you like em! 🙂
Regarding the Jungmann… perhaps the commentator meant that a Jungmann was once stolen from Germany. Most internet sources list this example as a Spanish built model (which seems more likely). Would be nice if this machine had a more lively history, though 🙂

Ah, Robbo beat me to it 🙂

U know if it’s an original german one or a Buchon?
The T-33 didnt land there did he??
Hi Alex, The Jungmann question is an interesting one. The bloke doing the commentry told a story of two downed airmen stealing this very aircraft from an airfield in Germany and escaping in it. Sounds like something from “The Great Escape”, but no doubt true of the type of heroics that took place at that time. The T33 flew out of Duxford, but was flown by a shuttleworth pilot, Keith Dennison, and what a superb display!
I thoroughly enjoyed the show, roll on the 14th for the next one!
Cracking pics by the way!!!!!!!

Alex, yea the Jungmann is lovely indeed. I believe it’s a CASA 1-131E.
The T-33 didn’t land (neither did a Jet Provost, earlier).
(PS. Did you ever get those P-39 gunbay pics I sent?)
Hi Skyraider 🙂

Fantastic pictures love the sight of the F2B head on, and the tied together formation we couldn’t have had much better weather really (still putting the second bottle of after sun on, gonna have a great tan on arms, face and neck only!)
Hope to see you all at the rest of the shows this year.

Manonthefence, it was a great day indeed, although in the beginning I was a bit worried about the weather. The bright cloud cover made it extremely difficult to get a decent exposure, and even so most photos aren’t looking that great due to lack of sunlight. Luckily the sky cleared up soon enough, making life a lot easier and pictures a lot prettier! 🙂
