Not one of Canada’s most successful creations. Yours, Moze.

Curtiss C “Canada”. I feel a little bad for the poor soul sitting in the rear.

This is distinctive enough.

Sorry for the delay, chaps – usual reasons at this time of year ! :very_drunk:
Hope you all had a good one !
Try this – and it may not be as obvious as you think…

Good detective work there. My eyes must be going as I didn’t notice Pentwater on there!
Over to wilkofife on the Lenert C.
By: wilkofife - 31st December 2013 at 07:06
Well the clues say Lenert (‘Pentwater’ under the tail is the clincher) so it must be the model ‘C’ (had forgotten the Continental A-70 was a radial )

This was an all metal build, except for the tires of course. From a small midwest USA company circa 1929.

Thanks RAB.
This one is a well-built biplane…

OK, this may be a replica, but of what?
By: Buzzard Bait - 27th December 2013 at 19:50
Out of town a couple of days…yep, you got it. Onward…
By: RAB - 27th December 2013 at 17:47
Waiting confirmation?
By: RAB - 25th December 2013 at 01:44
It’s a Thomas pusher of 1912-13, called Thomas Standard.
By: Buzzard Bait - 24th December 2013 at 21:36
OK, here’s something to tide us over…
By: avion ancien - 24th December 2013 at 09:31
I’m afraid that I have nothing ‘on the stocks’ and I am unlikely to be able to change that situation before Friday. Thus much as I dislike the concept of ‘open house’ (not in the spirit of the game, to my mind), it’s either that or a wait until Friday. So if anyone wishes to step into the breach, please do so. But if no-one does, then I’ll try to fill it on Friday. In the meantime, a very happy Christmas to you all!

Mais oui! How appropriate that avion ancien should get this one. You’re up.
