The All New 2013 "Wot Plane" (see post 4 for rules)

Thank you, Lightning Mate. With apologies for the delay – new year’s eve and all that – here’s a little something that, I hope, will occupy your grey matter for a while, whilst you recover from any excesses of last night!

Not one of Canada’s most successful creations. Yours, Moze.

Curtiss C “Canada”. I feel a little bad for the poor soul sitting in the rear.

Good detective work there. My eyes must be going as I didn’t notice Pentwater on there!

Over to wilkofife on the Lenert C.

Well the clues say Lenert (‘Pentwater’ under the tail is the clincher) so it must be the model ‘C’ (had forgotten the Continental A-70 was a radial )

This was an all metal build, except for the tires of course. From a small midwest USA company circa 1929.

It’s a Thomas pusher of 1912-13, called Thomas Standard.

I’m afraid that I have nothing ‘on the stocks’ and I am unlikely to be able to change that situation before Friday. Thus much as I dislike the concept of ‘open house’ (not in the spirit of the game, to my mind), it’s either that or a wait until Friday. So if anyone wishes to step into the breach, please do so. But if no-one does, then I’ll try to fill it on Friday. In the meantime, a very happy Christmas to you all!

Mais oui! How appropriate that avion ancien should get this one. You’re up.
