All we have to do is cut off the source of their funding (i.e. ransoms), their monetary revenue will start drying up, tackle the pirates with superior firepower and arming crewmen and their ships with weapons for self-defense.

If only it were true. Something really needs to be done about the pirates off the east coast of Africa, they cannot continue to hijack boats all the time and demand massive ransoms. I think the wrong end of a barrel of a gun is the only language these savage animals understand!
