Each to own.
A wok, like an oven dish, is no good until it has been seasoned by a few uses and a brown/black heat-treated hardened layer is built up.

And, as Titanium is the best heat proof metal, how does it apply to the wokking?

Look, it’s my wok.

I chose it.

I paid for it, with money that I worked to earn.

It suits me just fine, even though I would certainly not care to be belaboured about the head and shoulders with it.

Does any of the above cause you a problem? 😀

Ahem…. I bought the wok. 😡

And a damn fine wok it is, too! 😉

Tell her, that titanium is already non-stick, so she paid a fortune for a named product with bullpoo sciency bits added…….

Because some of us would find ourselves being smitten about the head and shoulders with a Jean Patrique 30cm non-stick titanium wok in fairly short order if we did…… 😮

I’ll keep wicket to catch the wok, I’m sure you don’t want it further damaged.

My mate got a b*llocking off his Mrs for putting her pic up on his Bebo page. I suspect others here fear a similar reaction…:p

You could try asking first… YOU: “Hello dear, would you mind if I put this nice picture of you on the internet to show off your loveliness?”

WIFE/SPOUSE: “No, I haven’t got anything to wear !” 😀

As for the single element, well I got single again a couple of years ago and I’m still having too much fun to do anything about it. My good friend Ms Prepon pictured above excepted of course.

You have been a lucky man moggy. Having your life graced by two pretty ladies when most blokes would happily settle for one. I have to admit that my other half will never be a page three model and I may have made a few rotten remarks about her in the past but she still lights my fire after nearly 28 years of marriage.

Maybe I shouldn’t, but I have many good friends here, and others, like yourself, who I feel I know though we have never met.

I’ll dig out a Mrs Moggy picture next.

Moggy

And a very nice lady too, if you don’t mind me saying so.

Seriously not a problem. I had two years when we suspected the end was coming, a year when we knew and it was just a matter of time, and I’ve had a year since then to get over it. Time really does heal.

Now, much as we will commemorate aircrew from WW2 here, I merely try to keep her memory alive by sharing it and her pictures, with you.

Mrs Moggy knew Sally, liked her and was very supportive. We lived 200 miles apart, and even if we hadn’t Sal was never a threat to her.

What sparked it off? Anniversary really. It got to be a year since I did the eulogy at Sal’s funeral.

Still miss her. We kept up an e-mail friendship and my inbox looks hauntingly empty these days.

Moggy

Thats very noble of you, I feel very guilty about bringing the matter up, sorry to make an issue of it, your comments quite upset me.
Pete
