It seems that the Trident and Comet at Gatwick are to meet the scrap man on Monday the 28th. A company in Scotland has been contracted to start the process, a number of the parts are already spoken for.

The Comet is very stripped out and incomplete. Still a shame to see it scrapped though.
Any idea who is having the fuselage?

Surely the Comet, although incomplete, could be saved and taken in to care of Peter Vallence’s excellent collection.
