"The Beachcombers"

Anyone remember the “Beachcombers” series from the seventies? Set on the waterways of Canada. One of the rogues was an actor called Robert Clothier.

In a moment of reminiscence I looked up his name first to see what the characters looked like as my memory has faded these days.

Turns out he was an Halifax pilot with 408 Squadron Royal Canadian Air Force during the war. Robert Clothier
