[/B]Different ypes of yak3 are worldwide now, some built in CEI, some in USA, while others are coming from romania …
I compared these different birds to what is know via historic publications and guess other people here have an opinion on the subject…

In fact many aircraft are trying hard to look like the original yak …but some really look better than others…none of themm carry the Klimov engine, so all of them got the Allison engine, but the differences are with what is all around that excellent engine …..

Keith , your post confirms my opinion that it would be good to get a clearer perspective on the yak family, we heard everything about the british and american superb production, getting into the smallest differences between types, but when it gets to yakovlev there is like a smoke screen…
