The Beverley Sisters

Does anyone know if XB285 and XB288 still exsist in the scrapyard near Oxford?Last time I visited was a good few years ago but 288 seemed to be mostly complete but sectioned.Latest google Earth image shows the yard looking as if it is partially cleared.

Any info appreciated.

No photos unfortunately.I could never understand how the scrapman made a living when a huge percentage of his premises was taken up with bent Beverleys for over twenty years.Last time I visited sundry crew seats and other small parts were stored in various places around the yard.Would be nice to know if any of this survived?

They lasted a long time then, did you get any pictures?

Blimey, how many years ago, both are showing as scrapped at Bicester in the late 1960s.

Well if they are then not listed as surviving anywhere, however more than happy to be proved wrong!
