Philip and Ben,

I would have very much liked to have attended this talk but alas you guys are all on the wrong side of the world.

I was wondering, did anyone film it? And will future talks be filmed for posterity, the archives and distribution to those who cannot attend?

Well our first talk for a number of years went very well last night. It was a very interesting talk with lots of detailed photographs of the restoration.

Smudger brought with him Ron Scott of the blenheim society who managed to sell a few bits and bobs

about 45 people attended, in some respects this is good for the first talk, but i was hoping for more.

did any forum members come……Some who said they would i know didn’t but heyho

anyway the next one is 14th July

Sledgehammers for tintacks by Steve Darlow.

Bomber command offensive against the V1’s……..looking forward to that one.

more publicity nearer the time.

ok ladies and gents
we have got the vulcan back in the air now let`s look to a new project to support,
the Blenheim 1 will be a unique aircraft in that it was the first all metal monoque design to enter RAF service back in the 1930`s and was the mainstay both in fighter and bomber command at the outbreak of hostilities.
by supporting events such as this at sywell will be informative and supportive of a great aviation icon.
let`s make it a maximum booked event.. :):)
