What is the busiest terminal at your airport?
Mine is Manchester airport and I know alot will disagree on me here but I’m sure T2 is the busiest esp early morning with PIA that have alot of aircraft from them, alot of charters such as Britannia and Excel airways, nearlly all of the american flights and more.
What about you?

With both Heathrow and Gatwick, I wouldn’t know to be honest.
With Heathrow, I’d have a guess at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3.
Gatwick, maybe the South Terminal, handling all charters with the exception of First Choice, plus American Airlines (who have announced that they are moving to the North to be with British Airways) etc etc.

I thought so!! As many airlines Terminal 2 has got, Terminal 1 just beats it!!

It’ll be T1, then. 😀

I mean the amount of airlines

Quite so, Pablo.

Depends in what sense you interpret ‘busiest’ – throughput of passengers, volume of movements etc…
By: Grey Area - 14th June 2004 at 19:46
Nope 😀
How many UK airports only have 1 terminal? I think you just wanted to boast about all the PIA heavies on T2, myself……. 😀

why thankyou grey area, well, I thought it was a good thread.

but I’m sure T2 is the busiest esp early morning
Over any given 24-hour period, I believe that T3 is actually the busiest of Ringway’s 3 terminals since T2 is comparatively quiet apart from the morning “rush”.
But it is a silly thread, IMHO. 😎

Well, Newcastle technically has two terminals, the domestic and the international (charter), I’d say that the International was the busiest

I’ll delete this thread then

Amongst London airports, I’d say T1 at LHR and South at LGW.

A bit of a pointless thread this, considering the vast majority of UK airports only have one terminal. Some even just a basic building.
Possibly a good time to mention then that GLA gets it’s new T2 building formally opened today. I think it’s fair to say you won’t be overwhelmed with wonder when you see it though, so in GLA’s case, T1 wins hand’s down.

Got to agree, this is a bit pointless as they are reletively few airports with more than one terminal.
My local LBA, only has 1.

For me it would have to be Terminal One at BHX which handles nearly all the traffic, Terminal 2 is the BA terminal and the inly aircraft that park there are it’s own Aer Lingus, SN Brussels Airline and Duo but they are no longer in business. 🙂

Technically, my local airport is LCY which has only one passenger terminal.

Since I moved away from ORY , mine now is BIQ.
I can’t really sat that it’s a “busy” terminal.
As you can see by yourself ….
