Digressing slightly I am sure I saw a program on TV some years ago that parts of the country was sprayed in the 50’s with chemicals as an experiment.

Some of the experiments in the UK and US.

All I have is this link, not sure how much of it to believe.

Just the other week an elderly neighbor asked about them…he thought they were jetliners venting fuel.

Tell him the Govt hack into the CCTV feeds… 😉

The Chemtrail nuts started it in the late 1990s. Since then it has simply become an easy money making scam. Sadly many people suffering from mental illness or just stupidly naive are sucked into it and it has spun out of control. It really is easy, easy money for some individuals who jump on the bandwagon and promote their ‘chemtrail’ books, DVDs and websites. Most of the bunk is generated from the films that they produce such as “What in the world are they spraying”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf0khstYDLA

You will find some of the real die-hard chemtrailers on the following website. It really is staggering their beliefs and the ‘evidence’ that they post.

http://www.abovetopsecret.com/Geo-Engineering_and_Chemtrails.php

http://www.abovetopsecret.com/

The ‘chemtrail madness’ prompted this chap to set up a website countering all the non-sense.

http://contrailscience.com/

As highlighted before it is easy, easy money and one such person is ‘Tanker Enemy’. Simply mind-numbing the continual amount of videos produced and manipulated to suck in the gullible and naive.

http://www.youtube.com/user/tankerenemy

If you’ve been to a Duxford Airshow you have probably seen this chap? He’s now on the ‘chemtrail circuit’ in the UK flogging DVDs and hosting lectures.

http://www.youtube.com/user/FreeTruthShow

Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. Now you can purchase devices to make the ‘chemtrails’ disolve. Utter madness!

@J Boyle
It wouldn’t be so bad him taking the benefits as long as he doesn’t spend the money, since that would involve paying VAT, which as the name implies is a (rather large) tax.

My partner’s daughter’s boyfriend is obsessed with conspiracy theories and all the associated drivel (Illuminati, New World Order, etc. etc.).

He claims he is one of the “enlightened ones” who knows what is REALLY happening (I can tell you that pal – You’re deluded), and, to “combat” any Govt./ Illuminati funny business, he:

– Has installed a water filter to his mains supply to counteract population-controlling drugs.
– Has installed CCTV (the house has at least 16 internal and external cameras. (Err, shades of 1984/ Big Brother? IMO, more conspiracy theorist hypocrisy.)
– Will not go outside because of the danger from chem-trails.
– Will not obtain a passport.
– Refuses to work because he doesn’t want to pay taxes to a “corrupt” Govt.

She got herself quite a catch…
No doubt he’s afraid of “big brother” but by installing 16 CCTV cameras in his house, he’s subjecting himself to what he’s afraid of.
Afraid of water & air tampering, but I bet he drinks water/liquids from “other sources”…i.e. pubs and smokes.
How does he know the pub landlord isn’t part of the “corrupt” system? Who knows what’s really in that beer? :diablo:
Doesn’t want to work to pay taxes, but he’s willing to take tax money paid by working blokes.

It’s official, modern societies/nations are screwed if they keep putting up with this nonsense.

Nobody ever said it couldn’t have benefits, but it is a poison, and that’s why some people choose not to consum it and don’t want it in their water supply. Not that I really care, my water doesn’t contain it…

Hi ppp,

Not wishing to split hairs, but I suspect you mean “My local water supply company does not add it”, which is very different to “my water does not contain it”. Fluorine is a naturally occurring element, and is probably present in all water supplies albeit at very low levels, possibly below levels of detection. Please note, I’m not trying to appear clever, or be patronising, I’m just trying to explain the subtle difference that many people fail to appreciate when saying things are “free from” or “don’t contain” something

@critter592
Fluoride in the water isn’t that much of a conspiracy, it IS a poison, it even says so on the packet. I can’t see how a water filter would remove it from the mains. A better idea would be to drink only mineral water. Also not all counties in the UK have fluorinated water.

Flouride is the same as many other chemical elements, consume too much or too little it may cause harm, get the dose right and it can bring benefits. Common salt (Sodium chloride) is also a poison inasmuch that an inappropriate dose can cause irreperable damage to the body. Water can kill too if you drink too much, and lack of it can also kill.

What type of water filter has he fitted, how does he know it will filter out the drugs? And how does he know that any replacement filter cartridges are not already impregnated with more “drugs” by the ‘men in black’ before he fits them:dev2:?

As for drinking mineral water – you don’t really believe those figures they put on the bottle labels do you , read the small print and you will see the “typical analysis” values often relate to an analysis on a sample taken some time ago…. who knows what they may be adding to the water these days 😉 And who performed the analysis on the mineral water, how do you know ‘Big Brother’ wasn’t tampering with the samples…. :diablo:

Even the name is a clue for those of us who are really in the know “MINERAL WATER” , for those that didn’t study chemistry or nutrition fluorine/fluoride is defined as a mineral. 😀

Well, that and spending 15 yrs working the full gammet of maintenance jobs from BAe 146 assembly at Woodford to the line at in Boeings and Airbus’s in NZ and Oz leaves me wondering exactly where all the little bits of plumbing and such really are fitted. But if I mention that then I know it makes me one of the few, sorry, many sworn to secrecy or planted as disinformation agents…..:D:D

The bit I don’t quite understand is if these chemtrails are there to drop a concoction of chemicals on us, and proof that the exist is the fact the hang in the air longer than a standard contrail then don’t the two contradict each other? Shouldn’t the intent be that they actually dissipate quickly over a wide area so that we actually get covered in the stuff rather than just watch it float over our heads?

It’s not just chemtrails they accuse, it’s also GM food, vaccines and anything else they are suspicious of. If the government were trying to kill people off, they wouldn’t really need to use a combination. Whilst one of more “conspiracy” type theory could be true, we don’t actually know which ones as they’re all buried in the same half truths and pseudoscience!

Here’s a good one I saw recently, it’s about a secret group of very rich people offering the UK government investment from it’s $15tn stash. Given the person involved, and that he is in the house of lords, it has some reasonable credibility to it, though it’s still a quite difficult claim to believe.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UeQ9TYDgWo

Then just a few days ago the BBC ran this article on tax havens where the super rich have $21tn

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18944097

Where did all this chem trails rubbish come from? Don’t people understand what happens to water vapour at altitude?

They aren’t talking about vapour trails, they are talking about ones that stay grouped for a long period and hang in the air. Having not actually examined the trails myself it’s quite difficult to state their claims are true or false. It’s unlikely, but stranger things have happened. One thing is for sure, a bandana is useless, she’d be better off getting a proper mask. Even if chemtrails didn’t exist, in a city she’d still be better off with the mask just from all the cars, industry and normal aircraft emissions.

I often wonder just were do these nut jobs think all this chemical is actually stored or carried on an aircraft, who exactly is doing the spraying?

Government, illuminati and such are the usual ones they accuse IIRC.

@Arthur Pewtey
Indeed the air was much cleaner when flights stopped after 9/11. All those emissions are not healthy, thats for sure. But it’s not a conspiracy either.

Garyw (#3): No idea, but I wish it’d go back to wherever it came from, and no, clearly not. :D:rolleyes:

A teensy-weensy bit of thread drift:

My partner’s daughter’s boyfriend is obsessed with conspiracy theories and all the associated drivel (Illuminati, New World Order, etc. etc.).

He claims he is one of the “enlightened ones” who knows what is REALLY happening (I can tell you that pal – You’re deluded), and, to “combat” any Govt./ Illuminati funny business, he:

– Will not go outside because of the danger from chem-trails.
– Will not obtain a passport.
– Refuses to work because he doesn’t want to pay taxes to a “corrupt” Govt.

Those are just a few. Yet, when I pointed out to him that just by owning a car, claiming benefits, and having an Internet connection the relevant authorities can trace him, I got the “Yeah yeah, but…” response so beloved of him and his screwy mates. (I forget what he said, as I tend to switch off when he opens his gob.:diablo:)

Girl I know is into this chem trail BS. When I called her on it one of her friends said “WTF would you know about aircraft?”…. Well lets see, I’ve been working on the damn things for decades

“Yes, but you don’t know whats in the trucks they use to fill the tanks do you?

Yes, I sometimes fuel aircraft with gasoline or kerosene”

But the people who work at airports & on aircraft are sworn to secrecy!”

Really? MILLIONS of people who work on aircraft are sworn to secrecy? I wasn’t..

FFS these morons give my ass a migraine.

why are all conspiracy videos/photos of such poor quality? With all the modern tech the least they could do is upload 1080p…….
