The Chinese Airforce

In case of a conflict over Taiwan how long would it take the US to demolish the Chinese airforce and achieve complete air-superiority.
How about some comparisions on the quality and quantity of either side including the US naval air arm since it will be the Carrier battle groups doing most of the fighting .
