Never seen anything like it! Just caught this airship on TV where the body revolves like a slow spinning top and the purpose was to use it as a logging crane. Unfortunately it crashed and the project folded unless anyone wants to revive it?:D

Cyclocrane info on the web
I help build the Cyclocrane. Last year I finally pulled the old pictures and video out of storage and put together this page: http://www.robcrimmins.com/home/engineering/the-cyclocrane/
It was an unusual machine and accidents were certainly possible but we never had one. There were no accidents during the flight test program. We used to say it was “inherently safe” because when unloaded it was highly buoyant so if you lost power it would rise.

I can’t say I’m surprised the project was abandoned as that looks a dangerous piece of machinery.
