The definition of stupidity

SOFIA: A driving student lost her licence three hours after passing her test after going for a celebratory drink with her instructor.
Police in the Bulgarian capital pulled over Kristina Andreeva, 23, and found both she and instructor Ivan Filin, 48, were three times over the limit.

Ms Andreeva said: “I had promised to buy him a drink if I got my licence and we … had a couple of wines and then I offered to drive him home. I was so happy I just didn’t think about the drink drive rules.”

Police also stripped Mr Filin of his driving licence and instructor’s licence.

I’ve seen this before and yes he was an idiot but his reason for doing it was that he had leukemia and he wanted to live his last year out by doing something never done before and that was exciting. He was the first person to go on Germany’s fastest train for a certain distance. He did die within the year from leukaemia.

Freezing toes have forced a Dutchman to abandon his bid to conquer Mount Everest while wearing shorts.
“Iceman” Wim Hof, who claims to have special abilities to withstand the cold, broke the altitude record for scantily clad climbing

“He set a new world record by going up to 7400m in his shorts. He had trouble with his toes, that’s why he had to stop. They were almost frozen.”
