This is a question for the webmaster of this website.
The drop down menus on this website are, at best annoying, at worst just plain bad (in terms of user interaction).
When you mouse over they pop open. Trouble is on the first mouse over by the time you select the menu option they have closed and you have inadvertently click the banner advert beneath.
Sometimes this annoyance persists.
Just my opinion but I don’t think they add anything to the website.

Had me scratching the old neep too – that is on the main home page of KP – but the drop menus remain open for me as long as the cursor is over the drop menu.
I don’t see the ads below the drop menu, either because they have now been removed or my ad blockers have supressed them.
What browser are you using? Using one which allows ad blocking may solve the problem for you?…

I’m not here to help directly as I am a cyber-luddite, but what menus are we talking about? I have no drop down menus on my screen that sit on top of banner ads.

I remember Peter (Mod) had some technical advice and certainly there were other technical contributions when this exact same topic came up months ago in a thread.
The Mods may be happy to point you at the exact URL for the thread I refer to.

Maybe its your own skills at computing that need looking at. Or your computer is not fuctioning properly regarding scripts etc therefore not allowing you to open the menu properly etc.

Do the menus annoy people that much.
The annoy me so much that I hardly ever notice them unless I actually need to use them. Which isnt very often.

They are a vital and integral part of this website and unless you want to start funding bigger and better forum scripts your stuck with them.
Personally I find them very usuable and they function well as far as they need to be used.
Dont see what the problem is.
