Once a target of 617 Sqdn, the Eder-dam is Germany’s second largest dam. Due to the very dry weather we’ve had in the past months the lake is drying out, presenting us with spectacular sights of villages, bridges, even two cemetaries and a model of the dam in 1:40th scale that was built in 1908 which have all been submerged for years.
