Sad to see the passing of Clarissa Dickson Wright, one of the ‘Two Fat Ladies’ from the television food and cookery show a few years back.
We have their cook book, it comes with a voucher for cholesterol lowering statins (or should)

What’s wrong with hare coursing and getting rat arsed preferably at the same time ? I though she was a game old bird – pun intended. I liked her indomitability. She was no wuss.

Rot you old cow. Prosecuted and convicted of Hare Coursing. 27 years sober still an alcoholic if not drinking its an illness that can never be cured only in remission if you don’t drink.Having lived with an alcoholic for 22 years I know what damage,heartbreak, violence and death they can cause Would you like to change your opinion Moggy after your comment on the damage to private aircraft the other month?

Not so bothered about the cooking but a great fun no-nonsense non-PC character, unfraid to speak her mind. There seem fewer and fewer of these life enriching characters.

She was on of my favorite TV cooks.
Her autobiography book makes an interesting read!
