The Fighter Collection's Hurricanes

This has probably been covered on the forum before, but i’ve been wondering why the TFC got rid of their Hurricanes? seems very strange for a British collection of fighters to be without one!

Good point!-i guess they could have one in storage or under restoration somewhere

I’m obviously aware that they can do what they want, but i thought perhaps there was another reason -considering the Hurricanes history

TFC is, first and foremost, a business in the restoration and operation of classic aircraft.

What they do with their aircraft is up to them. You’re after an airworthy Hurricane or Spit? Make the right deal, and it’s yours. How many Spits, Hurricanes or Mustangs have they had over the years, and then passed on? I would think quite a few….
