Read in yesterdays UK Sunday Times, plans are afoot to further run down the RAF, reducing the front line Tornado fleet to just 6 squadrons, closing 2 bases (Linton with all Tucanos going to Valley; and Odiham) to sell as real estate and raise money. It’s so so shocking that a government that has already run the service (as well as the army and Navy) well down below what is sustainable yet still sees it is fair for further cuts. We need that election now more than ever.
