‘The First Annual Shuttleworth Aviation Lecture’ will take place on Saturday November 4th 2006 at Old Warden.
The day will consist of Mr Andy Sephton (Chief Pilot) giving a lecture on flying vintage aircraft and the associated peculiarities of such, followed by a buffet lunch and then in the afternoon a guided tour of the collection including a behind the scenes workshop tour.
The lecture itself will take place in the main lecture hall of the Shuttleworth College and the price will be £35.00 (lecture, lunch and tour included) or £30.00 for existing SVAS members.
All proceeds will go straight to the collection and Andy Sephton has given his time free of charge as have all the organisers.
So it’s for a good cause.
Those of us who have been lucky enough to hear this lecture before will vouch for it’s quality and interest.
For those of you have often wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Old Warden, here’s your chance to see.
If the day is successful, the plan is to make it an annual event with lectures by other Shuttleworth pilots and engineers.

To reserve your ticket please call 01767 627933. Credit cards accepted. Cheques to be made payable to The Shuttleworth Collection.
There will also be a raffle and a few other surprises (fingers crossed).
Thank you.
Andy

The following image has been special produced as an A3 print for the first annual Shuttleworth collection lecture this Saturday. Prints will cost just £25 and all the profits will be donated to the SVAS. We are keeping the print run to a limited number of just 25 prints, so this is an exclusive offer to those attending the lecture.
Andy Sephton has kindly agreed to sign the prints, which makes them very desirable. If there is a specific print number you require, please PM or email me to register your interest, and I can let you know if the number is available.
If you are interested in one of these prints, please bring either cash or cheque payment with you on Saturday.

I like the black borders on the B&W shots Rob – give the pics a real period feel for some reason!
Am being dragged by Mrs TT to some play or other so wont be there (cue sigh of relief from all) but am sure it will be a great talk and will raise a tidy sum for the collection…
All t best with it
