This flying car flew for the first time this month and to my mind is the best looking car/plane combination so far. This could be the sign of things to come (from Slovakia!).

I has all the controls of a small aircraft and when you land, just drive it right off the airport landing pad to the house! It is called the Terrafugia. Comes equipped with everything a normal car has such as steering wheel, turning signals, gas petal and breaks.
The flying car is a very complicated task to do. They apper to look ugly as cars and nasty fly or inefficient as an aeroplane.

I doubt many would sell in this country anyway except to people with more money than sense. The price I saw quoted is somewhat eye watering ($400000).

Not a new idea, just an old concept brought up to date.
Which will never happen (not in this country anyway)

How does anyone ever imagine that could help the commuter. It’s either an aeroplane and subject to aviation rules…needs an airport…or a car and will be impractable to drive in the city.
Can you imagine thousands of these things flying around near towns.
A novelty and no more.
