Though he is far too modest to mention it (he says) those of you unfortunate enough to live in the Yorkshire TV region can be doubly unlucky and see our own Tangmere not in discussion with the famed author Dr North who uncovered such earth-shattering new aspects of the Battle of Britain a year or two back.

For those with Sky, you will be able to see it wherever you are in the country.

I was tempted to ask about the Canadian pine crate alongside Peter in image number three. But then thought better of it. 🙂
…
There’s a crate with “REA 59” on it, and you think it’s Canadian?!!
I must say that there seems to be more room in that hangar than when I was last in it – a Spit in for an engine change takes up less space than a 90% complete Mossie!

Too late, sadly, for me to appear in sandals, clutching a bottle of Canadian Pine and with a copy of “Watermelons: How Environmentalists are Killing the Planet, Destroying the Economy and Stealing your Children’s Future” tucked into my jacket pocket. Next time.

Sandals are the best of both worlds……….

ErrolC thanks for the link. The photos are great. Always good to see an aviation legend still going strong after all these years, the spits looked good too.

Just off to buy the book on watermelons. Am intrigued to read the narrative on how the watermelons are stealing our children’s future.

Speaking of celebs, here are photos of Peter Arnold at AvSpecs in NZ! Oh and a couple of Spits, and blokes that restore them.

Ok, own up. Who on earth bought this pairing off Amazon?
They both sound equally groundbreaking?
I see you can now by copies of this re-examination of the narrative for £1.40 (second hand). I’ve read it, trust me, it’s overpriced.

All the more reason to trim them. If I walk the basset on tarmac, his nails trim themselves.
Aside from that, it sounds like an interesting non-discussion.

Not in discussion, per se Moggy. We both did separate pieces. I have not yet seen Dr North’s contribution and the BBC seemed unwilling to put us together, as it were. A pity.
And Newforest, yes, that Dr North.
