The Gatwick Bridge now open for business!

Another thing that has crept up on us, it seems like only yesterday they moved that pedestrian bridge over the taxiway into place, now apparently the bridge and the new pier 6 are open for operations!

In the first of those photographs the tail of the 747 looks too tall for the bridge and certain to strike it 😀 . Wide angle lens indeed…

But yes, like Steve says what a great point for photographers!

That was shortly after it was put in place, the main pier 6 had only just started being constructed at that point.

Aw man! If I’d known they were going to be opening it this soon, I would have tried harder to book my flights on BA!
