The Gatwick viewing area Comet nose.

Does anyone know if the Comet nose cone is still on the roof at LGW and what if any plans there are for it ?

As previously said, it was moved, as with the other aircraft there. My Dad and his team had the pleasure of lifting them down :diablo:

The name of the place it went to exactly escapes me, but the biggan is parked up on the tarmac, you migt see her whilst taxiing out for an 08R departure onr arriving on 26L

It was removed after the viewing area shut and I believe its gone to a collection in the north of England
