Hi All,
Yesterday myself, Danny (Jonezi06) and his Dad had a wander over to DUB for the day. As is to be expected from any typical day at DUB, the presence of both Ryanair and Aer Lingus was very evident! Apologies for the lack of quality in some of these, the weather and light were not with us!

DJ shoots an incoming FR 738 and the resulting cloud from the burning rubber!

What size of steps do you need to clear the hyperfence ? I haven’t been there since they put it up. Wouldn’t like to head over only to find I can’t clear the big green thing!!
You don’t actually need steps! There are mounds on the south side of 10/28 that clear it. There are actually two sets of mounds, the first one you come to isn’t as high as the second, and when the original fence was in place this was a great spot to get lineup shots on 28. Now unfortunately with the new ‘Hyperfence’ (great word!) You have to go to the next set of mounds (only 5 minutes walf from the first set) which are quite a bit higher.
If you’re thinking of heading over and need directions just drop me a PM and I’ll send you a Google Earth map of how you get there. 🙂
Thanks for the comments, guys. Much appreciated!
Paul

Some good pictures there Paul. Don’t worry about the weather, it hadn’t cleared up by the time i arrived on Wednesday either.
I wondered who DJ was leaving me that message – All makes sense now 😀
That Up Munster B738 took me from BRS-DUB and home again yesterday

Nice selection of shots there !!
That “Up Munster” RYR pig. SPLAT. That’s what the guy gets for standing on the runway eh ?

Excellent shots Paul! Dublin looks a mess – what construction work are they doing? 🙂

Awesome shots as ever, mate, cracking work!
So many aircraft I have ‘ramped’ lately in that lot, EI-DCL on Sunday, EI-REL on Monday, EI-DAE and G-JECK yesterday! It has to be said, EI-DAE must be officially the scruffiest looking 737 in the Ryanair fleet.

A nice selection Paul, the LOT Ejet with the A330 in the background stands out to me. Any near misses with the crazy HGV drivers along that road?
All the best

Fab shots Paul, I love the LOT Emb170, I don’t know what it is about LOT but I do like their livery, it is one of those liveries that you would think people would hate. A 737 looks great in the LOT Livery.

I think they’re all great shots

And to finish with, some A330’s!

Thanks for looking, and thanks, Danny (and Steve), for an enjoyable day!
