The IAF Mig 29 Crash Saga

All of you must have heard of the Mig 29 crash near Jamnagar on the 8th of June.

Well the pilots are safe, but how much is the question. :rolleyes:

The reason for crash was a right engine fire, which even after repeated extenguishing and even after engine shutdown did not stop. The option was to bailout.

Everything was fine, the pilots landed in water and were rescued by a chopper. But what a rescue. The CO got into the chopper via winch fine. The junior pilot was being hoisted… lo and behold the winch came off clean and fell on top of the pilot 😮 giving him a hairline fracture on the skull 😡 .

Now i ask you how safe are the pilots?????????????
