The Iron Petticoat

Just caught the last 5 mins of this on Channel 4, starring Bob Hope and Katherine Hepburn, don’t know what the hell it was all about but the bit I saw featured a Dak in ‘Soviet’ markings and right at the end, an Anson being shifted about in a hangar, supposedly in Moscow, but I gather it was filmed over here in 1956, not much info on imdb, but I was curious as to which airfield it was filmed at.
The markings on the Dak were a very crudely applied Soviet star on what looked like black wallpaper over the port door, the Anson had no obvious markings, but in 56, it presumably must have been RAF, the Dak probably was as well, interestingly shot in colour of good quality, anyone know much about it.
