The JH7 in 2010

Following on from Phantoms various interesting threads, I was wondering about the JH7.

How many JH7’s were produced? Is production still in hand?
Are there any further developments planned?

The engines were originally Spey’s taken from the RN Phantoms, with a factory built in China to produce a licence built variant of the Spey.
Were these produced, or were the engines all sourced from Britain?

Was there any programme to put a more modern engine in, such as the Al-31? It would certainly fit.
