Pilot Officer John Hemingway of 85 Squadron is now last surviving pilot who fought in Battle of Britain. We attempted two excavations of Paddys Hurricane P3966 in January 1988 and again in the 1990s unfortunately we could not recover all the remains but in March 2019 the rest of the wreckage was recovered (videos on youtube)
