Well the weather never put me off in 1987 and it sure didn’t put me of today so I and quite a few other ‘hardcore’ enthusiasts went downt to Bruntingthorpe to the open day.
You all know that it has been twenty years since that most wet and wonderfull day at Binbrook when the Lightning made its public exit from the limelight and somehow it felt like those years just melted away at Brunty today with weather to match.
No chance to use my good camera today so out came the cheapy and a few poor shots as follows…..
First attemp at starting the Canberra produce this interesting result….
Second and successfull start…..
Off she goes!!…..
This little Iskra always make me chuckle, so small but lovely noise…
Hunter versus BMW, no problem there then! well with a car that colour he deserved it LOL….
And the star of the show….worth all the rainsoaked waiting in the world….
On the way home some road hog got in the way but with an ar3e like that I didn’t mind:D ….
An attempt at a video clip, chocks in and the taps opened up, the noise was incredible…..
