The Late John Coggins radio collection.

I spoke to John’s son Jan a few weeks ago who put me on to a local chap Peter Jones.

Peter tells me that he and the VMARS (Vintage & Military Amatuer Radio Society) are disposing of John’s collection in accordance with his wishes. They have only cleared his house and garage so far – there’s lots more to go. As John was also a radio ‘ham’ there is a lot of non aviation radio stuff as well. There is to be a VMARS members only auction tomorrow and what’s left from that will be offered at the Princethorpe event on Sunday (see below). VMARS website: http://www.vmars.org.uk/
