The late Mr Robinsons WW1 drawings/plans etc "where are they now ?"

The late Mr Robinson of Stockport had in his care, a number of original drawings/plans for various WW1 etc aircraft, they originated from the old National Aircraft Factory # 2 at Stockport, & consisted of ones for such types as the Airco DH 9 & DH 10, as well as some for WW2 Fairey types.
He also had a number of Bristol F2b drawings on microfich, the originals had been found in the Liverpool area & were linked to the NAF # 3 at Aintree, Mr Robinson borrowed the F2b drawings & had them copied on to microfich, he then returned them to the owner.
Does any one know where these drawings etc are now ?, I spoke to his son, & also to the late Stan Brennan about these drawings, & whilst they confirm that Mr Robinson had them, they did not know where they went to. I believe that He had some involvement with a group in Yorkshire “which one ?”.
Any clues would be most welcome.

Sopwith.7f1, Hi

I lost touch with Brian and TAC many years ago, ZE584 would seem to be your best hope.

Hi Aeronut
Yes it is the same Brian Robinson, I believe he was heavily involved in aircraft etc preservation & history, & not the kind of guy who would allow the drawings to be lost, which begs the question, where are they now ?.

I have seen pretty much every thing in the TAC archive which is now collected together and awaiting indexing at Hooton Park and although there are some Avian drawings I have not come across any of the items discussed in the thread.

If its the same Brian Robinson who was Manchester Airport’s historian for a time I know he was the holder of the archive of The Aeroplane Collection at one time.
