When this Lancaster was scrapped (1954) weren’t the RAF scrapping Halifaxes that hadn’t spent ten-years underwater? 😉

A shame that the aircraft recovered, including this one, got scrapped. Still, makes you wonder what else might be hiding down there…waiting for more enlightened times?
