Does anybody know what is happening with the Lightning Association. A once extremely active and enjoyable association to be involved with appears to be no more.
Although they appear at the Waddington airshow each year – Communication is non existent,website out of date – last updated 2004 and e-mails not replied to. As a member for a number of years a few words from somebody in the “know” would be appreciated!!

I can say personally the association is still well alive as well as the preservation of xr724 as mjr knows.
Charles recently has been a very busy man and i know him personally and still struggle to get hold off him.
I shall pass a message on to him if you wish me too .
Pls pm me ur name etc and im sure he will get in touch .

Why not try phoneing him, over Christmas i did just that to see if i could take some pictures of his Lightning in the garden and he was fine;)

Peter I’m not starting any rumours thanks very much – I’m merely stating a fact. I tried to contact him twice without success and I also tried some weeks ago. Likewise I notice that very little on the website has changed in a very long time. What are we supposed to conclude?

I tried emailing Charles on the website address a couple of days ago. Seems his mailbox is full so emails get booted back. You get the feeling that things ain’t going too well.

Hi Steve,
All I know is Charles Ross still ‘holds the fort’ as he is the only one we are able to have any dialog with these days, after that, ummmmm not sure sorry
