The loss of a friend….

A friend of mine and I raised this spectacular cat named ‘Mooch’, a very smart cat, self toilet trained…funny….adventurous….used to like going hiking with us in the mountains here in Colorado…..the other night he was running around the house as usual one minute….the next, he had to be dragged out from under the bed, he was howling in distress, his back legs were’nt working and they were cold…a trip to the vet revealed some blood clots had broken loose, he was paralyzed from the stomach back….surgery had only a 15% chance of saving him and would be costly and painful….fluid was building in his lungs and he was having trouble breathing….the decision was made….a quick shot with a needle and he was gone from this world in about 2 seconds.

He was only 4 years old and one of the most amazing cats I’ve ever raised. Mooch, my friend….you will be missed.
