The man who found the Bismarck honoured

On 21 July his plane went missing while he was on a mission to photograph another ship in a French port.

MIA or did they find his plane?

And there I was thinking of Robert Ballard!

It was quite an interesting piece and until reading it earlier I hadn’t appreciated that he was from Nottinghamshire.
