A pic of the M variant..carrying 4 AMOS/AA-9 and 4 ADDER/AA-12.
The type is known to have a very powerful radar..infact the first of its kind in a production fighter..and still considered one of the best next to the AWG-9 system on the Tomcats..
not much of a dogfighter..but good at destroying cruise missles, bombers, and other fighters from far away (like how most modern aerial engangements should be..too much emphasis on dog fighting when I believe modern air war is more BVR now). Range seems to be good..as usual for most large fighters (except the SH).
Problems are..I haerd the Foxhound is very hard to keep running and have low service rates.. the AA-9 is not that great of a missle (although I heard the newer variants are almost like a new missle all together and is as accurate as the AIM-54), and the Americans seem to have obtained the code for the Zaslon radar system (read that on ACIG)..
