The missing dictator!

A few months ago I saw a T.V programme about Hitler’s Death. According to the pragramme there is a possibility that he may have survived the war and gone into hiding in South America. The idea is plausible as his body was never formally identified, plus the soviets did try scare-mongering tactics to confuse the situation further. I think that Hitler did possibly survive for a few more years. Does anybody have any other imformation about the missing dictator?

Its disgusting that such a man was never really found, but maybe one day we may learn the truth about the evil man!

Do you think we can string this out for about 80-odd posts, then I don’t need to turn the page…;)

Hey, i interviewed the guy. A nice guy, made a living out of apologising for daddy. Also the pinnacle of Germany’s post-war lack of humour.

Sorry – keep getting Stan and Chris Boardman confused… (Something for the Brits there!)

Thanks for that info Flood! Its seems to be very stupid in my opinion to announce someones death without the body, and really this brings the whole judicial system to question!

I find the fact that Mengele managed to live until 1978 very disturbing, because he really was a bad man and i feel that his disgusting experiments were without warrent and he deserved to be punished extremely severely, more than Bormann, but 2nd to Hitler because Mengele crimes were carried out by his own hands.
I managed to record the programme about Hitler’s possible escape, but I don’t remember the fact that his DNA was taken, I still have mixed ideas about his escape, the soviets aren’t really very useful sources.

From www.us-israel.org

According to Erich Kempka (Hitler’s chauffeur), Bormann was killed trying to cross the Russian lines by an anti-tank shell which hit the tank in which they were trying to escape, causing it to burst into flames. Kempka, who was temporarily blinded at the time, claimed nonetheless to have seen Bormann’s dead body. Hitler Youth Leader, Artur Axmann, on the other hand, believed that Bormann committed suicide and claimed to have seen Bormann’s body on 2 May 1945 in the Invalidenstrasse, north of the River Spree in Berlin.

Doubts, however, have persisted and numerous sightings of Bormann have been reported, beginning in 1946 when his presence in a North Italian monastery was announced. In the same year, his wife Gerda (a rabid Nazi and daughter of Supreme Party Judge, Walter Buch) died of cancer in South Tyrol, though his ten children survived the war. It was then alleged that Bormann had escaped (like other loyal Nazis) via Rome to South America. Rumoured to have settled in Argentina where he was living secretly as a millionaire, allegedly spotted in Brazil and also in Chile, Bormann’s traces proved as elusive as the anonymity in which he first rose to power.

Having been sentenced to death in absentia at Nuremberg on 1 October 1946, he was formally pronounced dead by a West German court in April 1973 but his precise fate remains unknown.

Yeah, I know he escaped the bunker, but did he escape Berlin? I had to read up on him once, and I recall that he was a ‘mole-like’ man. WTF does that mean? Anyone?

Or [serious voice] he was (possibly accidentally) shot in a railway tunnel whilst trying to escape and his body never found.[/serious voice]

I read a supposedly FBI report with all the blanks for names for sources, which did dsay Hitler escaped with a sub to South-America. He supposedly was surrounded by loyal people and lived in a small village in thecountryside with no contact whatsover with the outside world.

His body was found, burnt in a shellhole. Taken back to Moscow, eventually taken away and crimated and buried in secret – although the teeth were kept in a file tray or something in the KGB headquarters (or somewhere…).
It served Stalin to have everyone think that this monster was still out there; thats why it has taken so long for the (apparent) truth to come out – and then everyone to ignore it because they would rather believe the mystery lives on…
I did ask a question after seeing the documentary because it was claimed that they even had captured British aircraft so that the bunker occupants could escape without getting shot at. No reply to that!
Why, do you think he escaped?

This story pops up from time to time.
I guess that’s a Urban legend but it makes sense since the body was never retrieved.

Eichmann was caught and eventually hung in Israel, Hitler probably had made better plans for the occasion because he may have had more inside imformation.
If he had of been caught, I don’t think that a trial would have been worth it, the man deserved to hang, or thrown into the 7th pit of hell to burn forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and everand ever and ever and everand ever and ever and everand ever and ever and everand ever and ever and everand ever and ever and ever.

Come everybody talk!

It was impossible to leave Berlin at 30th of april 1945 Borrman tried but failed and the ones who escaped to south Americas where not save for the Mossad. The capured Adolf Eichman in Argentina.
Maybe its better this way. The troubles you get when you catch a dictator, just look at Sadam. And when they hanged Hitler then the vengence was done for al the victems??
