Had a terrific weekend at the Bomber Command Museum of Canada this past weekend. Things got underway with a night run on Friday night with the audio of Nightinggales song being played followed by the startup of Lancaster FM159 under a clear sky and full moon.. After ground running all four merlins for a few minutes, the flood lights were turned on and the sight of the Lancaste at night running up for all to see was something I will never forget!
Saturday was another beautiful Alberta day and with record crowd’s, The old Lanc was run on two seperate occasions and was just as impressive seeing her run all four engines together!
Next step.. Taxiing !!

Well hopefully they will have 2 Hercules engine’s running together..

Nice to see her run all four again,and nice pictures posted too, if this is what can be done by you and the rest of the team like I mentioned in private e-mail’s will be their to hear the Hercules run together if I am still around :highly_amused:
